The Absentee

The Absentee is a science-fiction horror story, the tale of a test pilot returned from an interdimensional quest for perpetual energy sources to find himself possessed by an immaterial demon. He learns to occupy the demonic form with his own consciousness and use its preternatural abilities, but, while he is away, the demon's mind controls his body...and uses it to wreak havoc in all aspects of his life.

The Absentee is a 128-page cosmic horror graphic novel, written by Kevin LaPorte (Vicious Circus, Last Ride for Horsemen), with art by Rando Dixon and colors by Kate Frizzell and Vito Potenza. Cover by Rando Dixon and colorist Gavin Michelli.

The Deluxe Hardcover edition is oversized (8" x 10.88") and encompasses 164 pages, including a 23-page cover gallery and 12 pages of handbook-style profiles of the people, places and things within the universe of The Absentee. Features a wraparound cover by Rando Dixon and colorist Vito Potenza.
