The Daring & The Depraved Issue 1

The Daring & The Depraved is a story intended for adults and features some scenes consistent with old school rated-R movies, particularly those produced in the 1980's and 1990's. 

A small sliver of humanity's population is mysteriously blessed with superhuman powers by alien forces beyond our imagining, but at the cost of procreation among their own powerful peers. To mate, to build family, they must turn to the unpowered normals, a proposition now distasteful or downright disgusting to the suddenly superior.

Wars, both overt and covert, erupt among the superpowered as some among them exact violent revenge on the normals for their forced sterility, others capture normals like lab animals to harvest their reproductive organs for in vitro fertilization, and a scant few stand fast against these barbaric atrocities in the name of preserving all life on equal terms.

The Daring & The Depraved is a series of 24-page comics written by Kevin LaPorte (Vicious Circus; Gothic Horror Team-Up) and illustrated by Carlos Tron with colors by Alivon Ortiz.
